Eligibility-
PCM (min. 55%) for non-sponsored and 50% for sponsored category students through a regular mode of a recognized board only.
55% is compulsory but I will recommend you to contact the college once.

Admission depends on your IMUCET rank.
However, placements depend on your PCM marks (70%). In English, 80% is required by most of the companies.

Hello Tathagata,
It's very nice to that you have already set your sights on what you want to become. You have won half the battle. Admissions in engineering colleges these days are invariably based on some or the other entrance exam. Decide where you want to go and appear for the concerned exam. Get good marks & your admission is through.
That's all.

You will get a better answer to this once you enroll for the course and get to know the syllabus. At this stage no one would be able to tell about the same.
The only option you have is to visit the institute and have a word with admission counselors or the course faculty.

Hi,
The job of chemical scientists depends on the area of specialisation. Chemical scientists work in production and non-production jobs:
*Non-production jobs have professional specialists, technical and managerial staff.
*Production work requires handling raw material and managing. Chemical scientists with interests in the environment find opportunity for work in the water treatment, sanitary and sewage treatment plants.
