Halogenation is a chemical reaction that involves the addition of one or more halogens to a compound or material. The pathway and stoichiometry of halogenation depends on the structural features and functional groups of the organic substrate, as well as on the specific halogen. Inorganic compounds such as metals also undergo halogenation.

You can apply for the NET exam. The exam will be in December 2017.
Those who have acquired post-graduation from any recognised university are eligible for applying UGC-NET exam.
Who can apply for UGC-NET?
1. Any Indian citizen can appear for this exam. But, the citizen must have the Masters degree.

Yes it's possible. But you'll have a hard time clearing the engineering entrance exams particularly chemistry. Also, you have to study basic chemistry in your first year. It's definitely possible but you better start studying chemistry. All the very best. Feel free to ask more questions.

The eligibility criteria for industrial chemistry is different, it depends on the university.
As per my knowledge of B.Sc. in industrial chemistry, you don't require mathematics as compulsory subject, biology students can also apply.
Sardar Patel University of Gujrat is good for IC.
