Yes, there are certain exams for the teacher to qualify. B.Ed is though mandatory for every teaching staff. It is an add-on value if they write exams related to teaching, for example, UGC NET to qualify as a professor in any government or private institution or university. But with the B.Ed they need have a UG degree with any specialisation they want to specialise in and teach students in. I hope this is clear. All the best for your future.
