What I found unique about the PGDM programme at GIBS Bangalore is the amount of exposure you get outside regular classroom learning. There are live projects, internships, industry interactions, events and different activities where you actually get to apply what you learn.
The dual-specialization option is another good thing because you can explore two areas instead of limiting yourself to just one. The Bangalore location also helps with industry exposure and understanding the corporate environment better.
Before joining GIBS, I spent a lot of time researching and comparing different colleges, especially their placements, fees, exposure

Yes, GIBS Bangalore is a recognised college, and its PGDM programme is approved by AICTE.
Before joining GIBS, I actually spent a lot of time researching and comparing different colleges because I wanted to be sure about the recognition, placements, fees and overall exposure. I completed my PGDM from GIBS in 2025 and got placed, so I'm happy with the decision I made.
For someone looking for a PGDM in Bangalore, GIBS is definitely a recognised and good option to consider.

One thing that stood out to me about GIBS Bangalore was the overall exposure you get during the PGDM. There's a lot happening beyond regular classes — industry interactions, internships, live projects, events and activities that give you a better idea of the corporate world.
The Bangalore location is definitely an added advantage, especially when it comes to industry exposure and networking. The dual-specialization option is another good thing if you want to explore different areas of management.
Before joining GIBS, I actually spent a lot of time researching and comparing colleges because I didn't want to make a random decision. I loo

Most private engineering colleges in Bangalore, including RVCE, BMSCE, PES, and MSRIT, accept COMEDK UGET scores for admission. This exam is especially useful for students from outside Karnataka. KCET remains the primary option for Karnataka-domicile students. Some colleges also accept JEE Main scores for a portion of their seats.

RVCE remains the top choice for placements, but PES University (Ring Road Campus) has overtaken MSRIT and BMSCE in recent years specifically for Computer Science Engineering (CSE) packages and tech hiring. Don't just go by name, check recent placement data too.

For GIBS Bangalore BBA, the sanctioned intake is 120 students per batch.
In the recent batches, the actual number admitted was 95 in 2022–23, 83 in 2023–24 and 114 in 2024–25.
So the intake is around 100–120 students a year, depending on the batch. I think that's a decent size because you get enough people around for activities and events without the batch feeling too huge.

For GIBS Bangalore PGDM, the process is pretty straightforward. While filling out the application, you can enter your CAT or MAT score details along with your academic information and other required details.
After submitting the form, the college team guides you through the next steps, including the selection and interview process. Keep your scorecard and academic documents ready so the process goes smoothly.
I completed my PGDM at GIBS, and I found the admission process quite simple. The admissions team was also helpful whenever I had doubts.

Yes, GIBS Bangalore does give good support for students interested in startups and entrepreneurship.
I completed my PGDM at GIBS, and entrepreneurship was not treated as just another theory subject. GIBS has its IRE – Innovation, Research and Entrepreneurship programme, where students work on ideas, business plans, projects and get guidance through workshops and expert sessions.
There are also sessions with founders, entrepreneurs and industry people, which is useful if you're thinking about starting something of your own.
So if you're interested in starting a business or simply want to understand entrepreneurship better, GIBS is a good
