Some common paths are B.E. /B.Tech (Computer Science, mechanical engineering, civil, information technology, electrical and electronics, telecommunication etc.), architecture, B.Sc. In Physics or Chemistry or Mathematics, BCA B.Sc. CS or IT, BMS, B.Com B.Sc. LL.B. etc. know your interests and aptitude and decide what to study.

Hi Pooja,
There is no specific stream or discipline required in order to take admission in NIFT. You can opt for any stream to apply for NIFT Entrance Exam. All you need is an aptitude for design, which will determine your admission.

Mainly, the admission will begin only after the result declaration of class 10th by different boards. However, very few school has started their admission for class 11th. You have to check locally on your own, or if you have already selected the school then check it on the website of the school only. You may have to go in school and check whether the admission has started or not.

Well, you have to give good amount of time for NIFT preparation. Revise all basic Maths formulae, and practice questions, which will help you solve many class 10th level Maths questions. Be updated with current GK, not only national level, but with international events as well. Good vocabulary will score you much more. I would suggest, English is the main part of the paper that helps in scoring the most, so improve English grammar and vocabulary. If you are in class 11th, then you not only require class 10th knowledge, but you need to also have basic knowledge of class 7th, class 8th, class 9th, then you can perform well in your exams.
