Go for humanities if your parents allow you and if your school provides you courses of humanities otherwise you can either choose Science or commerce stream. There is no as such issue of your +2 stream

Yes, Maths is important for CAT. One of the paper in CAT is quantitative abilities which is technically Maths. However the syllabus almost covers upto class 12th only. Hence there are a lot of commerce graduates in IIM. I am sure when they can make it, you can too.
