In order to achieve any goal, you have to really want it. If you don't have the conviction and see yourself passing the CMA exam, it'll be hard to stick to a study plan. Having a well-thought-out study plan from the beginning will save a lot of time and stress down the road. Develop a 12-week study plan for each part. Anything less than 12 weeks may not give you enough time to assimilate every topic. Studying small chunks each day makes the entire process lighter and manageable, and you will actually retain much more of what you study. My recommendation is to study with a solid CMA course for at least 2 to 3 hours a day and at least 6

It would obviously be a great idea to pursue MBA after CMA. Given that you already possess expertise in areas of accounting, financial planning, analysis and management decision making, going for an MBA would add to your pool of talent and you shall be highly in demand for any managerial position. I would recommend going for it. Hope it helps.
Best of luck.
