Eligibility is the Qualification of DCET
Other eligibility criteria present here is Candidate must have passed Diploma in the relevant field of Engineering with minimum 50% marks from a recognized University.And, the Admission Process here is through counseling based on the rank obtained in DCET.

EIE in DSCE is much better option. But, why you want to take ECE in CMRIT? I mean are you made, at the ranking of EIE in DSCE, you can easily take CSE or ISE in CMRIT.
But, CMRIT stands nowhere near DSCE.
CMRIT is new! Don't take anything other than CSE or ISE there.
Just go for EIE in DSCE, It is complex and hard subject. But, as the college is great, you can have a lot of good books and teachers to teach you everything properly.
Also, placements are far better than CMRIT.
In EIE at DSCE you get a lot of CS Subjects to study.
And, ECE is a tough branch! You get less CS Subjects and also CRMIT is a poor college too. Finally, I want to say th

With a rank of 29,066 rank in COMEDK, you can get CMR University or CMR Institute of Technology, Bangalore but you will get CSE in 2nd round or in extended round of counseling of comedk. I hope you got your answer.
