CMR University, located in Bangalore, India, is known for its diverse academic programs in fields such as engineering, management, law, and humanities. Candidates who have passed a master’s degree or a professional degree with at least 55% aggregate (50% aggregate for SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL) or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7-point scale are eligible to apply for PhD programme. Candidates who have cleared the M.Phil. Course work with at least 55% aggregate can also apply.

School of Social Science and Humanities offers direct admission at UG and PG level. Further, for PhD, the school conducts a CMRET exam this exam is conducted by CMR University.
