College of Engineering Eligibility

To be eligible for the B.E./B.Tech programs at Shri Hanuman Vyayam Prasarak Mandal (SHVPM) College of Engineering and Technology, candidates must have passed their 12th grade with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as core subjects. Additionally, they should have secured a minimum percentage (usually 50% or higher, depending on the category). Candidates must also appear for the JEE Main exam or Maharashtra State's MHT CET for admission, based on the course and specialisation preferences.

To qualify for the B.E./B.Tech programme at SSBT's College of Engineering and Technology, candidates must have passed 12th grade with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) in Physics, Mathematics, and a relevant subject like Chemistry or Biology. A valid MHT-CET or JEE Main score is required. Diploma holders in engineering with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible for lateral entry into the second year. For admission to B.Tech in S. Veerasamy Chettiar College of Engineering and Technology, the eligibility criteria are:

Any other equivalent qualification approved by the State Board of Technical Education of Tamil Nadu or Higher Secondary Board

Candidates belonging to communities other than SC/ST should have passed the qualifying examination a maximum of two times

For admission to B.Tech, one must have passed 10+2 examination from any board in Science stream. For admission to B.Tech, it is beneficial to have PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) group as core subjects.
