The selection method for the B.E./B.Tech courses at Padmabhushan Vasantdada Patil Pratishthan College of Engineering (PVPPCOE) is primarily merit based, via MHT-CET or JEE Main scores. A candidate must have completed their 10+2 qualification with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as his/her major subjects.
MHT-CET : On the basis of the score obtained in the MHT-CET conducted by the Maharashtra State Government.
JEE Main: Admission can also be through the scores obtained in the admission test, JEE Main.
In addition, seats are allocated by CAP conducted by DTE, Maharashtra.
