Yes you can get admission in RGIPT if your class 12th marks are 60%. I’m giving you below the eligibility criteria for admission in RGIPT.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  1. Admission will be based on JEE (Advanced) or JEE (Main) with 80% aggregate in Class 12.
  2. During preparation of merit list, preference will be given to students who have qualified JEE (Advanced).
  3. Minimum 60% in aggregate (55% for SC/ST) in Class 12* in case of JEE (Advanced).
  4. *The criteria of 60% in Class 12 is waived-off for current year (2022–23) only for JEE (Advanced) qualified students.

Depending on the course and level of study, Rajiv Gandhi University and Dibrugarh University have different fee structures. However, it appears that Rajiv Gandhi University charges more for the majority of its programs than Dibrugarh University, based on some of the major courses offered. For instance, Rajiv Gandhi University charges INR 30,000 per semester for the M.Sc. in Bioinformatics, whereas Dibrugarh University charges INR 20,000 per semester for the same course. Earlier, 172 out of 716 students were placed in 2021. The median package offered over the past three years indicates an improving trend. The University has not disclosed the highest package details for the 2022 placement session. However, the NIRF report 2023 is out. According to the report, the median package 2022 offered to UG students was between INR 3 LPA and INR 3.50 LPA. For PG courses, the median package ranged between INR 4 LPA and INR 4.50 LPA.
