These are some of the extra curriculum activities and clubs that are available for student at Himalayan University:

• Sports and athletics: University has various sports team and faculty for different sports such as cricket football basketball volleyball badminton and athletics student can join these teams or use the security to stay fit and healthy and also participate in inter college or inter College tournament and competitions.
• Cultural and performing arts: University also encourage student to showcase there artistic talent and participate in culture event and competition these are club for dance music theatre and other performing arts that organised workshop performance and festivals.
• Science and technology: project and events that aim to enhance the knowledge and skill of student in STEM field.

• Science seminar: Himalayan University department of Science organised a seminar on the topic of recent trends in Science and technology where eminent scientist and researchers from various institute deliver lecture and presentation on the field of expeties.
• NEST FEST Delhi 2018: Himalayan University was an active associate partner in this event which was a national level talent hunt and exhibition of Science technology engineering and mathematics projects by school and college students.
• Asia Pacific water leadership program: University participated in this programme which was a joint initiative of ICIMOD and UNESCO-IHE institute for water education the programme aimed to enhance the leadership skill of young professional working in the water sector in the Asia Pacific region.
