To get admission to BDes, candidates must have atleast 50% aggregate in Class 12. The accepted entrance exams are JEE Main,  CUET,  NIFT Entrance Exam,  NID Entrance Exam,  UCEED,  UPES DAT, and others. Hence, candidates must have relevant scores in the accepted entrance exams. There must be 50% marks in Class 10 as well. The selection will be based on the Portfolio Presentation and Interview round. 

BDes is provided in specialisations such as Product Design, Interior and Retail Space Design, Transportation and Mobility Design, User Experience and Interaction Design, Graphics & Communication Design, Animation and VFX, and Game Design. Apply for admission as soon as possible if interested to study any of these specialisations. 

The mode of UPES School of Design course admission is online. Admission to various courses is based on merit and entrance exam scores. UPES School of Design flagship programmes are BDes and MDes. BDes is offered in seven specialisations. BDes students can opt for career opportunities such as Textile Designers, Teachers, Outside Sale Representatives, Graphic Designers, Design Managers, Costume Designers, Fashion Stylists, Fashion Forecasters, and others.
