This University is on average side and low in overall ranking. Either you consider other good option outside Uttaranchal or perform extremely well in this university and get all required expertise and knowledge and then pursue MBA construction project management or M.Tech in environmental technology or structure for better opportunities and growth.

I would only give you two reasons for my recommendation.
1st- UPES offers CSE program with more than 15 specializations and all are industry-aligned and domain specific courses.
2nd- UPES's placement record for CSE alone was 93% with the Highest Package being 14.81 lacs and 4.06 lacs was the Average Package.
Plus IFCAI is best known only for their law courses, but UPES is Asia's first university to introduce programs in energy sector and all of B.Tech courses in UPES are highly known and liked by students in India.

The university has more than 80+ domain focused programmes to offer along which 31+ are B.Tech courses.
Known best for their specialized programs across energy, infrastructure, transportation and computer science and engineering UPES even organizes numerous events, conferences, and company presentations for the students throughout the year, to help the students build a network within the industry.
I could go on and on describing the plus points

Uttranchal University is basically very much known for law. It is also known by the name Law College Dehradun. The BA LL.B, BBA LL.B and LLB offered by the university are good. Teacher student ratio is also good and the faculties are also dedicated to providing quality education to the students. As for placements are concerned, it has been decent as few companies have visited till now. However, the percentage of companies have also increased from this year.
