Aryabhatta Knowledge University releases merit list on the basis of score in the exams related to the course. (Example: NEET for MBBS) Three merit lists are released. For seat allocation at DU, students are required to lock their college and course preferences after the result is out. Delhi University will consider normalised scores provided by NTA to calculate the merit scores as per programme's eligibility. The highest possible preference will be provisionally allocated to the candidates considering the following points:
- Course-Specific merit
- Category of the students (UR/ OBC-NCL/ SC/ ST/ EWS/ Minority)
- Seat Intake
- Any other allocation rules, policies, or criteria citied by CSAS or University of Delhi

After the declaration of CUET (UG) results by NTA, the University of Delhi opened a preference-filling phase on its official website. Candidates are required to login on their CSAS (UG) dashboard to choose the courses they are willing to take admission if allocated. Candidates must give their preference for the course + college for every UG course selected by them.
For filling the preferences of course & college combinations in which they are willing to take admission, they must do the following:

The University of Delhi (DU) has announced the undergraduate admission schedule for 2023-24 academic year. DU is accepting admissions through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) on the basis of the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG). The first phase of DU CSAS registration started on June 14. The second phase started on Jul 17 and closed on Jul 25. This followed by the release of DU first CSAS Allocation List 2023 on August 1. Before the CUET counselling process for DU will even begin, it is necessary that aspirants opt for DU during CUET form filling and later apply on the CSAS portal to be eligible for admission. The admission process after CUET result declaration is explained below:
Step 1: After the declaration of the CUET UG exam, register on the DU CSAS portal in multiple phases.
Step 2: Submit College + Course combination preferences in the order of priority on the CSAS dashboard.
