GGSIPU's opening and closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For the general category under All India, the closing rank was 135489 in 2024. There is no specified dress code in Jesus and Mary College, you can wear whatever you are comfortable in. I have seen people wearing all kinds of clothes with no judgments or questions asked and this diversity is what makes JMC amazing. 

The admission process of JMC is same as other colleges of Delhi University that is based on the CUET so direct admission is not an option. However there are reservations for Christian and sports students but no direct admission option. 

College life in any college depends on various factors. In JMC, college life will mainly depend on the kind of people/friends you meet. It is actually happening for people with group of active friends as there are lot of cafes nearby to visit with your friends.  Fests are a regular thing in JMC especially in the month of April / May which gets boring at times but still fun. The campus is beautiful with many picture taking spots and an amazing library.  

As a current student at JMC I can assure you there are number of PGs in Satya Niketan are e.g.  Stanza Living and others. Satya Niketan is just 10 mins away from the college but crowded, so the next best place would be anywhere in RK Puram (especially sector 1- Prabhatara Hostel). The area is not much crowded and also just within 5 km radius of the college. 

To get admission in any course in Jesus and Mary College is dependent upon your course and that sessions particular cut off. It may vary for different courses and fields.  CUET is a driving factor for the admission in any college of Delhi University.
