The mode of Hansraj College admission are online and offline. Admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses is based on merit and entrance exam scores. Students willing to appear for admission to various courses will be required to pass the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). CUET stands for Central University Entrance Test. It is an all-India level entrance examination that is conducted by NTA for admission to undergraduate courses offered in all of the participating institutions.

There is no particular dress code at Hans Raj College. Students can wear whatever they want but the clothing must be decent. The college gives freedom to students to wear according to their own choice and willingness. Girls are free to wear a saree, suit, jeans, or whatever they like to wear.

The most important tip for students taking admission in the first year at Hands Raj College must be self-confidence. One should always be very confident in nature and try to communicate as much as possible. Going from school to college the gap is too large and all the students have some kind of shyness, hesitation, or introversion, which is very common among the new students. But students should never lose hope, it will take some time to make friends and also to settle into a new college environment but with time students will be able to adapt and have some great friends. Try to communicate with the seniors and take notes from them on

If someone misses the internal exam in Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College, the course shall reappear for the Internal Examination of that course and clear the internal examinations.

Some tips that I would like to give to a first-year student studying in my college are as follows:-
Don't depend on the professors or the teachers for the study material. Try to make your own notes.
If you think that the whole syllabus will be taught in the class then you are wrong. You have to put in some extra effort yourself to do it.
Frankly speaking, the classes here are not so regular. Hence, I advise you to give your main focus on self-study.
Many curricular activities take place round the year. So, you may participate in the activities that you like.

There is a prescribed dress code for the students of the Institution. Sky-colored check Kurta having round shape collar, white Shalwar and white dupatta (cotton), black seater in the winter season, and canvas shoes are prescribed as the dress code of the Institution. The dress code shall be followed by the students from the day the academic session begins without which the student will not be permitted to enter the Institution.
