If you want to sincerely make an effort to crack the DU LL.B entrance test and trust me when I say this, all you need to do is pick up the Universal LLB entrance book and study from it, cover to cover. The book is very comprehensive and covers all aspects that are asked, or can be asked, in the examination. Apart from that, you should be upto date with the current affairs, read newspapers, be aware of the latest developments in the field of law and you are good to go. Do focus on the previous years papers as well so that you get familiar with the exam pattern.

As a thumb rule, one should opt for classroom studies when it comes to law. Even though law is a pragmatic and dynamic field where most learning happens during practice, the classroom discussions and debates are important to develop an analytical mind in the field of law. Furthermore, University of Mumbai is more reputed and, being based in Mumbai, there are more options in terms of internships and other co-curricular activities. Therefore, keeping these in mind, preference should be given to University of Mumbai.

Dr. Ambedkar Law University are both reputed colleges and provide good placement opportunities to their students. GGSIU is better than Dr. Ambedkar Law University but if a preference has to be made, one should consider other factors to decide other than placements. Other factors may include location, fee etc. One need to give weightage to this fact that one college is in the northern part whereas the other one is in the south. It is one of the most famous law colleges in the Delhi-NCR region. It is also among the first few preferences of students who look for colleges other than NLUs. The placements from this college are good. Although they may not be as good as top National Law Universities but students do intern and get offers from several law firms and top corporates. Another advantage of this college is with respect to place. Along with college, students can intern with lawyers in Delhi High Court as well as Supreme Court. The college also has a placement cell. The placement cell of Jamia is fairly active and mostly managed by the faculty. However, not much is known about the success rate of this placement cell. That being said, students of Jamia, in their individual capacity, have managed to secure jobs in some of the biggest companies as legal counsels solely based on their own caliber. Universal Guide to LL.B. Would be sufficient for preparation as long as you make sure you study from it thoroughly. Go through all the previous year's papers and time yourself while attempting then to get a hang of the expected paper and format. Apart from that, stay up to date with current affairs, especially in the legal field.

Coaching is not necessary for the entrance exam. The exam is easy and the pattern predictable. I would advise you get Universal's LLb entrance book to help you prepare. Go through it, cover to cover, and solve all previous year's papers. Also, be updated with the legal developments that have taken place in the last five years.

The expectations, providing all the facilities like AC, Wi-fi, book bank, internship etc. Here, all the teachers are well-qualified and are Ph.D. holders as well, some of them also have written books and some of them went to many workshops and conferences etc. Infrastructure is undoubtedly very good. But, the canteen facilities are average and hostel facilities are again average. The sports and cultural festivals here are celebrated very well. Minimum 50% in graduation is required. Dates shall be announced soon for the commencement of the programme. Classes shall be held on weekends, fee structure should be Rs. 50,000 for one year and the last date for the form submission can be known by contacting the college admission committee.
