Candidates without NCHMCT JEE can be admitted to IHM Gangtok's courses. Mainly, the rank and grades earned in the NCHMCT JEE determines the admission to the BSc programme. Candidates must have cleared Class 12 to be eligible for courses. Candidates must take the NCHMCT JEE for admission to the BSc programme, other courses do not require the entrance.

Unless the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) offers a particular pathway or conversion course, a sociology honours graduate with a BE (Bachelor of Engineering) degree is probably not directly eligible for an M.Sc. (Master of Science) programme in Hotel Management or any related field.  A bachelor's degree in a related field, like hospitality and hotel administration, is required for the majority of IHM M.Sc. programs.

Doing B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration at IHM Bodhgaya is not too hard if you have interest. Practical work is little tough, need to stand long time, work in kitchen, deal with guests. If you ready to work hard and learn, then no problem, you can do it easily. Just need little patience and dedication.
