This college, in general, is a good college.

Placements: SMIT doesn't have placements for civil engineering at all. Not even a single batchmate of mine got placement. It does have a good placement percentage for computer engineering students as the placement percentage is 96%. Other departments have a good placement rate too.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is what makes joining this college reasonable. SMIT is one of the best colleges and also have the best infrastructure, better than most of the college in Sikkim. It has a huge vicinity and an amazing sports facility...

Excellent infrastructure, well experienced faculty & one of the best learning environment in India.

Placements: SMIT had a dedicated TNP cell that works tirelessly in terms of arranging the hiring programmes and giving pre-placement training to students as well. From my course, 65 per cent of students were placed. The annual package varied from 6-8 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies were Cognizant, EY, Intellipat, Talview, Dell, Next and many more. Microsoft has been consistently offering top roles with excellent packages of around 20-25 LPA.

Infrastructure: The college is well known for its peaceful and learning-friendly environment on the banks of river teesta with less crowd as well as pollution. The classrooms are well-equipped with smart televisions, Every student gets 90GB of Wi-Fi package per month. The labs like Computer Applications Lab, Advanced Programming Lab, Super Computing Lab, and Central Computing Facility, are well-equipped will all the modern hardware required for quality education. SMIT ,in my years, was a good experience. I have learnt a lot in this college.

Placements: In the college there is100% placement in CSE Branch. Top recruiting companies are Dell, Microsoft, Cognizant, Providence, Ericson, Nomura Fintech, etc. Top roles offered are in software development, software testing, HR, UI/UX designer, etc. The highest package offered is of INR 25 LPA and the lowest package is of INR 4 LPA. 95% of the students got internships as well.

It is a very good college in north east.

Placements: Around 90% of placements were provided in our college. The highest salary package offered was 23 LPA and the average salary package was 5 LPA. Students of our college got many opportunities to grow their skills to get placements.

Infrastructure: All the facilities were available in our college with good infrastructure and location for students to study and get placements. Free Wi-Fi was available to study online.

Really great fest and faculty.

Placements: 95% placements took place in the college. Great opportunities are offered to each and every student. The packages depends on the course and skills of students. The highest package offered was 24 lakhs per annum.

Infrastructure: No words for infrastructure as everything is so awesome. All the necessary required facilities are provided from gym to swimming pool. Hostel and mess food are literally awesome compared to other colleges. This college is one of the best college.
