As there is a plus point of being autonomous, many good comapnies visit the campus for recruitment drives. The
major recruiters being Asian Paints, Exide Life Insurance, EY, Fidelity, HUL, HSBC, JP Morgan, Tata Capital, Wipro Technologies, Western Union, IGATE, Capgemini, Aon, and Accenture.
The placements data for various streams separately mentioned are:
1. Marketing specialization: Average package is Rs 9.2 LPA and the highest package is Rs 15.34 LPA.
Finance Specialization: Average CTC-9.41 LPA and highest salary-16.1 LPA.

This means you will be evaluated not only on the basis of your marks but also on other qualities like leadership qualities, extracurricular activities etc.

Yes, you can apply to both. The cut offs are not the same. HCM has profile based selection.
