GIM Goa has all the qualities of tier 1 and tier 2 colleges.  Goa Institute of Management GIM Goa ranking is 43rd by NIRF 2025 under the Management category. The college offers good placement support to students. 

As per the student's review, "The infrastructure of the college is exceptional. You also get to witness a serene view of the mountains from various points inside the campus. There is 24/7 Wi-Fi installed in all the hostel rooms, classrooms, and labs with good speed. The mess food is above average and most people say it is better than other residential campuses. Candidates need to have at least three-years of work experience to apply for Hybrid PGDM course at GIM Goa. Aspirants also need to complete bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least 50% aggregate to apply for Hybrid PGDM.

NIT Goa flagship programmes are BTech and MTech. Engineering branch is one of the best branches under the NIT Goa. A few of the BTech students were selected for Prime Minister's Research Fellowship in the past.

NIT Goa has all the facilities of a tier 1 college. The college infra is quite good along with the placements and the scholarships. Goa NIT has been ranked 101-150 by NIRF 2025 under the Engineering category.

The No. 1 MBA college in Goa is the Goa Institute of Management. It is the only institute in the state to rank 43rd in the NIRF Management category of top MBA colleges in India. Also, this is a private institute, and it's the only one in the state with AACSB and AMBA accreditations.

Selecting a BE at a state-affiliated college under Goa University is affordable than other premium local colleges. For instance, the total tuition at the affiliated Goa College of Engineering (GEC) is ~INR 3.6 Lakh, whereas NIT Goa costs about INR 5.6 Lacs and IIT Goa is around INR 9.36 Lakh. BITS Pilani Goa is the most expensive, with fees over INR 21 Lakh.
