To secure admission in B.Tech Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) at IUST (Islamic University of Science & Technology, Awantipora, J&K), you generally need a JEE Main percentile of around 90–95 for General category and 85–90 for EWS/OBC categories. Below this range, CSE becomes very difficult, though lower branches may still be available.

 IUST CSE Admission Cutoff (JEE Main Percentile)

• General Category:

  • Safe percentile: 90–95+

  • Closing rank usually falls around 40,000–50,000 (All India).

• EWS/OBC-NCL:

  • Safe percentile: 85–90+

  • Closing rank around 60,000–70,000.

• SC/ST:

  • Safe percentile: 70–75+

  • Closing rank around 1.2–1.5 lakh.

You cannot get direct admission into MANIT Bhopal (Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology) for B.Tech CSE. Admission to all NITs, including MANIT Bhopal, is strictly through the JEE Main exam + JoSAA counseling process.

Admission Process for MANIT Bhopal (CSE)

1. JEE Main Exam → Your percentile determines your All India Rank (AIR).
2. JoSAA Counseling → You must register and fill choices of NITs/IITs/IIITs.
3. Seat Allocation → Based on your rank, category (General/OBC/EWS/SC/ST), and seat availability.
4. Reporting & Document Verification → Final admission after fee payment and verification.

 Cutoff Trends for MANIT Bhopal (CSE)

• General Category (Home State): ~98.5–99 percentile.
• General Category (Other State): ~99–99.2 percentile.
• OBC-NCL (Home State): ~96–97 percentile.
• OBC-NCL (Other State): ~97.5–98 percentile.

👉 With 98.15 percentile, you are borderline for CSE at MANIT Bhopal.

• If you are OBC-NCL, you may get CSE in later JoSAA rounds or CSAB special rounds.
• If you are General category, CSE is unlikely, but you may get ECE/IT.

 Key Advice

• No direct admission—only via JEE Main + JoSAA.
• At 98.15 percentile, keep MANIT Bhopal CSE as a choice, but also include ECE/IT and other NITs (like NIT Kurukshetra, NIT Durgapur, NIT Jamshedpur) where CSE closes slightly lower.

Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra is a private university that is recognised by the UGC and provides good education to students. Below are the reasons to choose the university:

• Good Ranking: The university is ranked 22nd and 51st under the 'Engineering' and 'Architecture & Planning' categories of NIRF 2025. 
• Global Visibility: BIT Mesra has been ranked 463 by the QS World University Rankings 2026 in the 'Asian University' category. Under the 'Southern Asia' category, it was ranked 120.
• Placement Opportunities: The highest and average packages offered to the BTech students were INR 1.45 crore PA and INR 11.66 LPA, respectively, during the 2025 placement drive. 

Andhra University, Visakhapatnam is a public university that is recognised by organizations like UGC and gives good education to the students. Below given are the reasons to choose Andhra University:

• Good Ranking: The university is ranked 41 under the 'Overall' and 4 under the 'State Public University' categories, respectively in the NIRF 2025 rankings.
• Placement Opportunities: The university gives placement opportunities in companies like IBM, HDFC Bank, Accenture etc. 
• Scholarship Options: The university also gives scholarships to the students to help them financially like Jagananna Vidya Deevena, UGC Fellowships, freeships etc.

With a CUET PG score of 110, admission to M.Sc. Mathematics at Delhi University is very unlikely. DU's CUET PG cutoffs for Science courses, including Mathematics, generally range much higher—often above 200–250 marks out of 300 for the General category. 

Why 110 Is Not Enough

• CUET PG is scored out of 300.
• For DU's popular PG programs (like M.Sc. Mathematics), cutoffs are usually 200+ for General category.
• Even in later rounds, cutoffs rarely drop below 180–190.
• A score of 110 places you well below the safe zone for DU admission.

Alternative Options

Since DU is not realistic at 110, here are practical alternatives:

1. Other Central/State Universities with Lower Cutoffs

   • Jamia Millia Islamia, BHU (for non-core branches).
   • State universities in Rajasthan, UP, MP, and Haryana often have lower thresholds.

2. Private Universities

   • Amity University, Lovely Professional University (LPU), Chandigarh University, VGU Jaipur.
   • These institutions admit students with lower CUET PG scores or even direct merit-based admission.

3. Consider Allied Courses

   • If Mathematics cutoff is too high, explore Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or Data Science programs in private/state universities.

 Key Advice

• DU admission is not possible at 110.
• Apply to state universities and private institutions where cutoffs are lower.
• Keep backup options open in related fields (Statistics, Applied Math, Data Science).
