Practically speaking there is no difference between these two degrees. Both connote degree in engineering.

  Normally speaking IIT's or NIT's award B Tech while Govt Universiies acoss India award BE. Its a mis conception that B Tech means more hands on training than BE. But its not so. Both these degrees have equal weigtage in job market.

Institute of Engineering and Management has a big campus which has Classrooms, Laboratories, Seminar halls, Computer systems, etc. Each classroom has a seating capacity of 60 students and is equipped with LCD projectors as well as Wi-Fi. Each department has its library, along with central library. Central library has more than 845,000 books, e-books and digital library offers lectures from IIT Professors through NPTEL. 

Documents required are UG degree, 10 and 12 mark sheets, character certificate, valid ID proof and passport-size photographs. Students must make their application in time for admission into MCA course at Uttaranchal University.
