Instead of just a single final percentage, the institute uses a 10-point credit system. You'll hear terms like SPI (Semester Performance Index) for your current term and CPI (Cumulative Performance Index) for your overall average. It's not just about one big exam, your grade depends on continuous assessment, including quizzes, lab work, projects, and mid-semester exams, which keeps the learning process steady throughout the year.

For BTech admission at ICFAI University, Jharkhand, students have to pay a Caution Deposit of INR 10,000. The Caution Deposit will be refunded to the students on completion of the BTech program. It will not be adjusted to any fee or dues.

One academic year at the IIT Dharwad BTech course is split into two semesters. The first semester usually runs from July to December, while the second runs from January to April. Most of your heavy learning happens during these months. Between these semesters, you'll get breaks, which many students use to take up internships or work on technical projects to add some practical experience to their resumes.
