The top colleges for MCA Ahmedabad are ITNU, L.J Institute of Computer Applications, Gujrat University, etc. These are based on multiple rankings. Some of the ranking bodies include NIRF, Outlook, etc. Rankings are based on multiple factors like seats, placement, fee, etc. Students are advised to check official website for more information.

Both ITNU and L.J.I.E.T. are private institutes. Fees of ITNU is INR 3.8 Lacs while L.J.I.E.T. fee is INR 2.1 lakh. The highest package offered to L.J.I.E.T. students is INR 6 LPA. ITNU the highest package is INR 20.4 LPA. There are other factors as well for deciding which college is better. Some of the factors include number of seats, location, etc.

MCA at Nirma University consists of 20+ subjects. The curriculum is divided in four semesters. Each semester includes core subjects and elective. Students get a choice to choose their elective subjects Semester II & III. Summer internship is a part of Semester III. Completing an internship is mandatory in Semester IV. The curriculum focuses on academic and practical exposure.

The programme is divided in four semesters. Semester I consists of six subjects. Some of the subjects include Computer Network, Data Structures, etc. Elective subjects are a part of Semester II & III. Along with academics, it is compulsory for all students to complete a summer internship and full-time internship in last semester.

no, not really.

At Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, there's no direct/management quota admission like some private colleges.

Admissions are mainly through:

  • JEE Main score
  • 12th PCM marks (board merit category in some rounds)

If someone is offering you a “direct paid seat,” be careful — that's usually not genuine.

Only legit way is through their official admission process

For Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (recent cycles), B.Tech admissions usually:

  • Applications close around May–June (with possible extensions)
  • Counselling rounds continue till July–August

Exact dates change every year, so the safest move is to apply early and track rounds.
