The B.Des programme at Galgotias University helps students learn industry-relevant design software and creative tools used in visual communication, digital design, and product development. The course focuses on practical learning through studio sessions, live projects, and workshops, giving students hands-on experience. It also helps students improve their creativity, technical skills, and build a strong portfolio for future career opportunities.

As being a Galgotias University, students benefit from both college resources and self-learning. The university provides experienced faculty, modern labs, coding clubs, workshops, hackathons, and placement training, creating a strong foundation. At the same time, students who actively practice coding, work on projects, and pursue internships through self-learning develop the strongest skills. In my experience, the combination of university support and personal effort is the key to success.

From what I know, GIBS Bangalore usually accepts applications until the available seats are filled, so it's always better to apply early instead of waiting till the last minute.
I'd suggest:
Apply as early as you can.
Keep all your documents ready.
Don't wait until the final deadline.
Once you apply, the admission team will guide you through the next steps.
When I applied, the process was quite smooth, and the admission team was helpful whenever I had any questions. If you're planning to join GIBS, I'd say don't delay your application because seats get filled as admissions progress.

Yes, I feel GIBS Bangalore gives students good exposure outside the classroom. It never felt like we were only studying from books. There was always something happening that helped us learn in a more practical way.
During my time there, I got to be a part of:
Internship opportunities.
Guest lectures by industry professionals.
Industry visits to different companies.
Workshops and interactive sessions.
Practical learning through different activities.
I personally attended a few industry visits, and those were some of the best learning experiences for me. It was completely different from learning in a classroom because we got to see how companie

For me, GIBS Bangalore never felt like a college where you just attend classes and go back home. There was always something going on, so college life stayed interesting and you were constantly learning something new.
What I enjoyed the most was:
Internship opportunities.
Guest lectures.
Industry visits.
Workshops and fun learning activities.
Placement training.
Friendly faculty and a good campus atmosphere.
I think the biggest difference for me was the confidence I gained. I became more comfortable talking to people, working in teams, and trying new things. Looking back, I feel I learned a lot beyond academics, and that's what made my experien

B.Tech, especially Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and its specializations like AI, Data Science, and Cyber Security, generally have the best placement opportunities at Galgotias University. Other courses such as MBA, BCA, and some management programs also have good placement opportunities, depending on the student's skills and performance.

Yes, Galgotias University maintains a good balance between academics and extracurricular activities. Along with regular studies, students get opportunities to participate in clubs, technical events, cultural programs, sports, workshops, and hackathons. Managing both depends on how well you plan your time, but the university provides enough opportunities for both.
