Do not choose IIT Delhi with low JEE Rank. Right BTech branch is important for a successful fast-tracked engineering career such as software developer, data scientist, or tech entrepreneur. Choosing a less popular engineering branch just for an IIT tag is often proved as a bad decision due to less placement opportunities.
Choose IIT Tag over a popular BTech branch in a private university only if you are interested in the core subject you are getting or want to pursue higher studies in the same field.

Jaipur National University is a self-financed private university recognised by the University Grant Commission (UGC). India Today has ranked the University 191 for "BTech", 99 for "BCA" & 55 for "Law" courses. AT the UG level courses like BTech, BBA, BSc, BCA, BCom, BA, BPharma, BA LLB etc. are offered. MBA, MCA, MSC, M.Tech etc. are offered at the PG level. During the recent placements, the highest package offered was INR 70 LPA to the school of Media Studies. For the School of Technology, the average package was INR 6 LPA & for the School of computer and system sciences, the average package was INR 5.5 LPA. Im short it is a goo

Yes, it is definitely worth doing BTech from JNU Jaipur. The university offers BTech programmes for the duration of 4-years in full time mode. BTech is offered in ten specialisations such as Biotechnology Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Artificial Intelligence Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, Cyber Security Engineering, etc. In School of Technology, the highest package was INR 27 LPA, during recent placements.

Jaipur National University determines the cut-off based on the score of exams like CAT, MAT, etc. The cutoff details of Jaipur National University cutoff 2026 have not been released yet. During the last round of Jaipur National University NEET UG cutoff 2025, the closing rank for MBBS admission was 888693 in the General category under the AI quota.

BTech is offered in specialisations like Civil, Mechanical, Computer Science, Robotics & AI, etc. M.Tech is offered at the PG level in specialisations like Electrical Engineering, AI & Machine Learning, etc. The overall average and median package recorded during the placement drive in 2026 to BTech graduates were INR 12.55 LPA and INR 10.50 LPA, respectively.
