Hi Shruti,
A decent grip over class 11th and class 12th level mathematics would help you in IPMAT. You must have a good command over English as well. You can look for the online study material available for IPMAT. For the interview, you can refer to the experiences shared by candidates, which would give you a good idea of the selection procedure. They generally look for your interests and academics.
All the best.

Dear Abhay,It is always better to start early. With each passing day, more and more people are getting aware of IPM. In the coming years, competition among candidates is going to be very stiff. On the other hand, I feel IPM is still not that tough nut to crack. So, a rigorous preparation isn't required in Class 11th. But, you could start looking at the past year papers and the interview experiences of candidates. This would give you a decent Idea of the selection procedure and hence, less burden in class XII. All the best.

Hi,
Mathematics is not a must for admissions in IPM. The current batches IPM host a large chunk of students from Commerce background. However, I feel there are courses in each term which require a decent grip over mathematics, Thus mathematics isn't a must, but it is a necessity to perform well in IPM.
Thanks.

Yes, of course. Many commerce students in IPM took physical education at 10+2 level (class 12th) as electives. The IPM committee has lifted the restriction for Subjects and stream in class 12th so the criteria for admission remains just in your percentage scores in board exams.
All the best.

For this, you must go for Madhya Pradesh counselling based on JEE Mains. After that, you need to verify your documents and then you will get a chance to fill colleges of your choice. Once you satisfy the college cut-off rank then you will be able to get college. For SGSITS, you must have 50-70K rank in JEE Mains so that you will have a higher chance of getting SGSITS.
