A rough estimate of €150-€250 (INR 13,000-22,000) is deemed the average monthly food expenditure for an Indian student in Griffith College, Ireland, depending a lot on individual propensity.
Cooking by oneself with groceries from Tesco or Aldi (rice, lentils, masala) can cost €100-150/month. Eating out or ordering Indian dishes of choice (curry, naan) incurs anywhere from €5-10 per meal, which increases the spending to €200-€250 if done often. Daily hot meals in campus canteens are being offered within the price range of €6-8. Still, the prices very much vary from Dublin to Limerick, with Dublin being the expensive one.&nb
