In case of CIT there are 60 seats for M.Sc. Data Science and there are 40 seats in PSG Tech for the same course. In CIT the admission takes place on the basis of the cut-off obtained in the board exams, ENTRANCE EXAM CONDUCTED BY THE INSTITUTE followed by THREE LEVEL OF INTERVIEWS. If you clear this you will get admitted into the college. AND, IN THE CASE OF EXCEPTION IF YOU ARE REALLY INTERESTED IN DATA Science or, IF YOU ARE WHOLE MINDED THAT YOUR FUTURE IS PURELY BASED ON COMPUTERS, THEN GO FOR THE MANAGEMENT SEATS. You can go for B.Sc. CT, IT, Maths or any computer related U. G programme offered by many prestigious colleges (like PSG College of Arts and Science, Bishop Heber, St. Joseph, etc. ). And prepare for P. G entrances, then join MCA in NIT Trichy, or other NITs that offer MCA institutes which is more worthy than these two institutes.
