The quality of the food in the hostel mess is said to be good. In fact, the mess provides both vegetarian and non-vegetarian preference on a menu designed with the help of the students. Meals are served at scheduled times during the day, including breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner. The incharge of the mess supervises the mess and takes care that food quality and hygiene are maintained. In general, students feel satisfied with the variety and nutrition that the hostel mess provides for them.

Selection criteria for B.E. / B.Tech course at MES College of Engineering are:

Eligibility: The applicant should have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Entrance Exam Admission is granted based on the entrance exam scores of KEAM (Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical).
