The KEAM cutoff for Baselios Mathews II College of Engineering indeed differs from one branch to another. While it is capped around 8000 to 15000 ranks for branches like Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication engineering falls between 12000 to 18000 ranks. Generally, they consider specific branches such as Civil and Mechanical Engineering which is around 18,000 to 25,000 ranks. The precise point basically fluctuates with the supply of seats as well as the flow of candidates each year.

It is  mid-range to be selected for admission into Baselios Mathews II College of Engineering. As per the current trends of KEAM an average rank of below 20,000 is required for getting into top choices of branches such as computer Science and electronics. It does change annually depending with the number of seats put up for competition and the performance of the students. Clearing Class 12 exam with percentage higher than 75% with Physics Chemistry and Math also helps.

Students seeking admission to Baselios Mathews II College of Engineering are admitted according to their rank in Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) test. The process usually starts in mid May and ends in July or early August depending with the availability of the seats. The college conducts a total of 1500-2000 exams annually and gives around 300-400 episode seat for B.Tech branches such as Computer Science, Electronics, Civil etc.

Baselios Mathews II College of Engineering hostel mess offers clean and tasty food in line with the food diversity. Quality check of food helps in maintaining quality standard of the food, students also like the diversity of the food being served veg and non-veg both are provided. It serves breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner and costs about Rs 3000 to 4000 per member per month.

There are mock interview sessions, training sessions, and mobility with the industries that are organized by the cell. It has further enabled an 80% placement rate every year affair with the leading companies such as Infosys, TCS and Wipro offering packages worth between Rs  3.5- 6. The performance of the placement cell benefits the students in third party placements and their overall career progression.

B.E./B.Tech is preferred at Baselios Mathews II College of Engineering to increase employability with an assured placement of 80 students every year. College provide good infrastructure, sophisticated labs and well qualified faculty members. The computer Science and electronics branches receive an average of ?4-5 LPA which is further extended as the companies like Infosys and TCS often visit the campus.
