In addition, candidates will be admitted if sponsored by the Government, governmental agencies or Universities. The Institute has three wings namely the Hospital Wing, the Achutha Menon Centre for Health Science Studies Wing, and the Biomedical Technology Wing. The hospital has 253 beds and offers services like tertiary referral centers for Thoracic, Cardiovascular, and Neurologic diseases. The college has a TRC - Technical Research Centre for Biomedical Devices, Technology compendium, and offers various other facilities like library, hostel, canteen, transportations, etc. There are a total of two libraries, one at the Hospital Wing and another at the Biomedical Technology Wing.
