It could be said that the Central University of Kerala – Thiruvalla Campus is in a Tier 2 tier. The first tier of institutions in Indian teaching context is recognised as IITs, NITs, and some of the best ranked Central Universities with very high national ranking, research infrastructure, global acknowledgement etc.
Although, Central University of Kerala provides decent education, better faculty members If we don't see it in top 100 repeating list of the national frameworks like NIRF. The CUET examination cut-off standard required to qualify for B.Com at Central University of Kerala - Trivandrum Campus generally accepts 300- 350 marks out of 600 for the general stream. For the OBC and EWS category, the cut off ranges in between 260-300 For the SC/ST category, candidate secures between 200-250.
Despite that, it is mostly true that there might be slight changes in the cutoff each year due to the number of students that apply and the number of seats available, and the students' performance in CUET. The Central University of Kerala - Trivandrum Campus offers the B.Ed programme to students who should apply through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-PG). Applicants must have passed their Bachelor's degree in any field with not less than 50% aggregate from a university or college.
