To seek entry into B.E. / B.Tech at MES College of Engineering, admission seekers must have passed out 10+2 with an aggregate of 45 percent in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Admission takes place mainly through the marks scored in KEAM entrance exam. Students who are interested can register online to appear for KEAM, generally available in January every year. After the results of KEAM, candidates can seek their seat through counseling. Applications can be submitted through the college office or directly on the official MES College of Engineering website, along with required documents and fees.

The KEAM cutoff is different with respect to courses and categories for MES College of Engineering. For the 2023 session, the closing rank varied around 24,885 to 27,668 in the first round for different branches. Some course-specific and counseling round-specific cutoffs are not known to me. They are brought out by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations, Kerala, after each round of counseling. Candidates must refer to the official website of KEAM for cut-off marks and ranks.

MES College of Engineering does not have any direct admission process for its undergraduate courses as it relies on merit, as admitted from KEAM entrance exam and qualifying examinations. The candidates need to secure a minimum percentage of 50% in the higher secondary examinations to become eligible. But in some postgraduate courses, like an MBA, they are permitted to have direct admission, solely based on their performance during academics, provided the rest of the eligibility criteria is met. The application process accepts both online and offline submissions, with an application fee of INR 500.
