It's a decent B-school in Bangalore to pursue MBA. The companies that came for finance were: JP Morgan, SBI, Deloite, Honeywell and many more. I would advice you to think positively by looking at the highest package which was Rs 12 lakhs rather than the lowest which was around Rs 5.6 lakhs.

Candidates, who are desirous to join B.Tech program in IIST must appear for Joint Entrance Examination Main conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi to qualify themselves to appear for Joint Entrance Examination Advanced, which is conducted by IITs and secure the minimum prescribed category wise marks in JEE Advanced.

IIST is the third best option to pursue aerospace engineering after IITs and PEC University - Chandigarh. There is no fee in IIST and ISRO will offer you job of scientific officer subject to availability of vacancies on completion of B.Tech.

The preparation takes around 3 to 5 months and the scores are valid for two years. Once expired you must take it again. So, you can schedule it accordingly. You may start preparing now, slowly and gradually. Good luck.

The lowest salary was Rs 5 lakhs per annum, the median was Rs 7.5 lakhs per annum and the highest, Rs 12 lakhs per annum. The fee would come around Rs 11.75 lakhs inclusive of hostel fess and mess for 2 years.
