Review for IIST - Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology.
Placements: 85% of the students have been placed. Due to the limited number of students at IIST, all of them have excellent placement opportunities. If you have a CGPA of 7.5 or above, you have the chance to be recruited by prestigious companies such as ISRO, Bosch, Benz Mahindra, Tata, and more.
Infrastructure: The campus will have 24/7 medical facilities available. There will be two white canteens on the premises. All types of sports courts will be accessible including inter-house tournaments held annually. The mess will serve both north and south Indian varieties and the campus will be filled with greenery.
Faculty: Experienced and qualified faculty teach at IIST, with an eco-friendly approach. Semesters are tough, but provide a bright knowledge that makes students industry-ready. The pass percentage of students is 80%.
Other: All events and festivals will be held on campus. Onam is celebrated grandly. Every even semester, we have Dhanak Fest, which is highly celebrated.

Academically challenging but if you are really interested in space this is the best institute.
Placements: As a freshers, I've noticed that a majority of the upperclassmen have already joined ISRO due to their contractual obligations. However, various IT and mechanical companies still visit our college for recruitment. Although the bond system no longer exists, this institution provides an excellent opportunity to enter the space industry, as evidenced by our seniors who have pursued entrepreneurship and offer valuable guidance to us students.
Infrastructure: Situated atop a hill, the college offers breathtaking views of the surroundings. The classrooms are equipped with Wi-Fi, ensuring connectivity for students. The campus boasts a picturesque infrastructure, and although the hostels may be slightly dated, they are still well maintained. The first-year students share three-person rooms and have access to communal washrooms, which they are responsible for cleaning themselves.
Faculty: Academically, its a bit challenging, and extra effort is required. The curriculum is obviously a little lacking in aerospace-related courses for avionics too. It is fun to be around great professors who themselves are working on their research and teaching us.

Great opportunity to get placed as scientist in ISRO, good infrastructure and experienced faculty.
Placements: Our institution is managed by the Department of Space, Government of India. IIST has a direct collaboration with the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). Most of the graduates get placed as scientists or engineers in various ISRO centers. Along with that, many space companies and startups offer jobs to the students of IIST.
Infrastructure: We have many well-equipped hostels on the campus. The hostels are equipped with Wi-Fi on each floor. The hostels are well-sanitized and clean. Two students live in a single room. There are common bathrooms. Water supply is there on each floor through water purifiers.
Faculty: Almost all faculty members are Ph.D.s from IITs. They are highly skilled and experienced. Most of them are involved in various research projects in different fields, including space science. They develop various payloads for satellite missions. The curriculum is vast and focused on space technologies.

Overall, a pretty decent college.
Placements: Till the admission batch of 2020, there was a bond, so around 95-100 students go directly to ISRO, while others mostly join private firms. Major private firms include Skyroot Aerospace and Agnikul Aerospace. Most students receive around 10.5 LPA in private firms, and a minimum of 7 LPA is guaranteed.
Infrastructure: The labs are very well-maintained with modern infrastructure and instruments, except for 1 or 2 faculty machines. Wi-Fi is quite decent, and overall, the hostels are good considering the hostel environment. Cleaning staff comes regularly too, so the toilets are clean. The mess is reasonably priced, offering hygienic and healthy food, though the taste is not the best but still acceptable.
Faculty: The faculty is highly qualified, with some of them being ISRO scientists themselves. The lower number of students results in personalized attention from faculty. The course curriculum is very relevant, preparing students for most future tasks. One downside is the academic pressure; end-semester exams are really tough, tougher than IIT end semesters and GATE. Additionally, there are too many projects and assignments.
Other: The crowd here is actually pretty good, but the hostel is not as happening. Fests aren't as massive as in other colleges.
