1. UVCE, Bengaluru-government college
2. NIE, Mysore- nice college, good campus
3. BIT, Bengaluru- nice college, no campus
I am alumni of BIT (201014) batch EEE branch. The college is nice but due to unavailability of campus, lacks enormously in other activities like organisations of seminars, conference, ted talks, robotics competition, etc. This affects our resume alot. UOM to offer five emerging engineering courses from this academic year. The University of Mysore (UoM) has become the first government university in the state to get the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) permission to launch engineering courses. The entrance exam accepted for University of Mysore BTech admissions is KCET.

Vidyavardhaka college of engineering in Mysore, Karnataka one of the prestigious engineering colleges I had applied for civil engineering, computer Science, information technology, and electrical and communication. I got a government seat in the civil engineering stream in the general category. If you want admission in civil engineering you should have a KCET ranking below 25000 without any quota if you have any quota then it may go up to 35000 KCET ranking and come to computer Science KCET below 8000 ranking without any quota and they will provide Good placement facilities and Good teaching faculty members.
