Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology requires minimum 75% and it is one of the eligibility criteria for the college. So you can't apply for IIST.

It must be a rule for. You that you be very open and dedicated to learning any engineering. Indian Space and Research Organisation is not just concerns with Physics. The machines, Research shall surely need engineering and that too in Core Engineering subjects. Mechanical is one of them. Please see if you can do Electronics and Communication, or Mechanical Engineering and learn as much as possible. Focus on Your Research Competence and try for Jobs that are released by ISRO.
