Possibility of Admission to VIT Andhra Pradesh

It may get very tough with an Andhra Pradesh EAMCET rank of 9202, yet the chances of undergoing admission into VIT Andhra Pradesh under the BC-E category are not entirely impossible. Actual admission cutoffs every year vary due to the number of applicants, available seats, and how popular a particular programme is.

For instance, admissions in Computer Science Engineering, normally a most competitive program, would generally find their cutoff ranks lower than or roughly about 5000. On the other hand, there exist some programs whereby students are admitted at comparatively higher ranks.

Yes, you can get a seat in VIT Andhra Pradesh with a rank of 43980 in EAPCET and being ST category candidate from SVU region, you have chance of securing a seat at VIT depending on the branch you are aiming for.

You can get core branches like civil engineering and Mechanical engineering.

To apply for the BCA course at VIT Vellore, you'll need to follow the online application process, meet the eligibility criteria, and wait for the merit-based selection process to conclude. If there are any changes in the process, such as the introduction of an entrance exam for the BCA course, it will be announced on the official website.

I recommend visiting the official VIT Vellore admissions website for detailed, updated information and dates. Let me know if you need further assistance with your application process!

You have scored very well in your intermediate. But, please note that getting a CSE branch also depends on your performance in the entrance test conducted by VIT or whichever major entrance test you appear for. Your rank should be below 8,000 to qualify for CSE branch. Please note the actual rank required may vary.

VIT Vellore doesn't provide any specific B.Tech degree in purely Robotics and Automation. However, the college does have a B.Tech programme in Mechatronics and Automation, where parts of its curriculum relate to robotics and automation. The four-year undergraduate course has mechanical engineering, electronics, and computer Science amalgamated. Further, VIT Chennai has a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering with a specialisation in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics the university is offering more, about these two specializations. Both courses endow the students with capabilities for survival in the robotics sector that is cons

You have got a descent rank but it would not be sufficient to fetch you a integrated Mtech seat under category 1 or 2 at Vellore campus of VIT. You can possibly get it in 3rd category but chances of it are slim as seats are limited and mentioned course is most common choice in integrated program.

The best possible options are:

  1. Integrated CSE at Vellore
  2. Integrated CSE with specialisation in Data Science at Vellore
  3. Integrated CSE at Chennai (category 2)
  4. Integrated CSE with specialisation in business system at Chennai (Category 2)

Hope it helps!

VIT Vellore offers B.E/B.Tech programme at 24 different specializations. The average fees paid by an individual for doing would be between 1.5 to 2 Lacs in year. And the average fees paid by the individual for the overall course would be between 5 to 8 lakh. For getting admission at VIT Vellore for B.E programme you should clear the entrance exam called VITEEE conducted by them. Moreover 800 + recruiters came for placements. Having earned an 8.27 CGPA in your undergraduate program, you may have great scope for admission into the M.Sc. Data Science programme at VIT Vellore, where admission is usually based upon academic performance and entrance results. VIT Vellore conducts the VIT Masters Entrance Examination (VITMEE) for M.Sc. programs, and the entrance requirements are usually a commendable academic record in any of the relevant subjects. A CGPA of 8.27 is considered competitive, but the score must meet the VITMEE requirements and all eligibility criteria. For further details regarding admissions and entrance exams, please refer to the official website o

The VITMEE, which stands for VIT Masters Entrance Examination, is the entrance exam for postgraduate programs in VIT Vellore. The MCA course is one of them. Cutoff ranks for the MCA program in previous years have been different and have changed due to various factors such as the number of applicants and seat availability. For example, in 2019, the cutoff ranks for the MCA program were approximately:

Category 1: 950
Category 2: 3,500
Category 3: 19,000
Category 4: 22,000
Category 5: 25,500
These figures are indicative and may not correspond to the cutoff of the year.

All most 80% student get palced but most are in low package of TCS. Some studends will be going for higher stadies. Some time VIT suggest students for higher studies if they are not getting placements and also give them a recommendation latter.
