For the 2024 B.Tech Civil Engineering batch, the average package was about INR 6.5 LPA, and the highest offer was close to INR 35 LPA. Placement was part of a campus-wide drive. However, placements in the core branch can rely heavily on CGPA, especially for students with a CGPA of 8.5 or higher, and participation in recruitment waves.

In terms of rankings, placements, and academic reputation, VIT is generally thought better than SRM and KIIT. It also has good infrastructure, diverse groups of fellow students, and better placement, especially in CSE and IT, after which comes SRM, which is good in terms of industry exposure, and lastly KIIT, which tends to be preferred in region and has been recording consistent growth.

The VITEEE 2025 results have been released on May 3, 2025. Candidates can check their results on the official VIT website (vit.ac.in) by logging in with their application number and password. The results were originally scheduled for April 30, 2025, but were postponed to May 3. 

To download the hall ticket for the VIT exam April 2025, visit the official VITEEE website and log in using your application number and password. After logging in, locate the “Download Admit Card” section. Select your test date and venue (if applicable) through the slot-booking process. Once confirmed, your admit card will be available for download. Print multiple copies for exam day. Ensure that all details like name, photograph, and signature are correct. In case of discrepancies, contact the VITEEE helpdesk immediately before the examination day to get the corrections made.
