It's a 50/50 between SRM and VIT. SRM, KTR has its own pluses and VIT has its own pluses. VIT's exposure is slightly more than SRM's. Placements are almost the same. (Conditions apply).

Yes, google and Microsoft visit VIT University for placements. Not only that many MNCs also come for placements.

Hello pravallika,
The difference is the time period. You will be usually spending 4 years for B.Tech, and if you want to do M.Tech you will then spend another 2 years. But, in case of integrated B.Tech+M.Tech, you will be doing both the degrees is 5 years. So, your time of one year and the fees will be saved. This is the advantage of integrated course.
VIT University is a top ranked university which is known for its placements, exposure and education. So, it is good to do that. But, the only thing is that they charge a lot of fees as it is a private university. If you can pay that, then you can study there which is well and good.

The admission into VIT University is based on your rank in an entrance exam called VITEEE. So only if you write hat exam and get a good rank, then you can get admission.
VITEEE is for all undergraduate programs at VIT and VITMEE is for post graduate programs.
