In order to secure an enrollment, Indian students must fulfill all the Columbia University admission requirements. It is interesting to note that every applicant has to go through largely identical admissions process at Columbia, regardless of their citizenship or place of residence. Given below are the Columbia entry requirements for overseas applicants:
- Autobiographical information;
- Academic transcripts (English translation);
- Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject;
- School Profile & Mid-year report;
- Statement of purpose (SOP) / Essay;
- Recommendations letters (LOR);
- SAT/ACT scores (optional);

That is a great question and I will break it down for you. To get admission to CU, your 12th-grade academic records matter a lot. Good scores in your 12th-grade exams make you eligible for scholarships.
If you have scored 90% you get 50% of semester fees. 85 to 89% get a 20% discount. 80 to 84% Get a 20% discount.
Now let's talk about CUCET. While it is not mandatory for admission to interior design programs, CU has opened it up for all students.
It is a chance to grab additional scholarships based on your performance in CUCET.
In the end, you will be eligible for the highest scholarship among both categories.
