If you want to pursue a career in finance, you can definitely go for it. In order to fulfill the eligibility criteria, you should have completed your class 12 with maths/statistics as a mandatory subject. There is no different criteria for a science student. Completing a degree course is one of the eligibility criteria to take IAS exam. So, I wonder how you can take the exam without completing it.
