How much have you scored in class 12th, doesn't matter. If you really want to take admission in engineering, so you have to prepare for JEE mains exam to get admission in government colleges as well as IITs.

The minimum eligibility for doing an undergraduate program B.Tech in computer engineering is +2 science with physics, chemistry and maths. The selection is generally made on the basis of entrance tests like, IITJEE, AIEEE, BITSAT, JEE Mains, etc, conducted at both national and state level. If there are universities that accept candidates on merit basis, the criteria then is minimum 60% marks at higher & senior secondary level (10th & 12th) and minimum 60% aggregate in physics, chemistry & mathematics at senior secondary level. In today's life, computer is the best option for job opportunities. So, if you want to do BCA, you have to qulafiy an entrance test.

You need to score over 95% in class 12 and get a decent score in AIEE or IIT JEE. SAT exam is not mandatory, but if you score well, it will increase your chance. You can also appear for IELTS, and you need to score 6 band.

You may face challenges in getting admission in Ph.D abroad because with MCA degree by distance learning you may have difficulty is showing consistent academic performance. You are advised to try seeking admission in German universities. You may also not face similar challenges in India.
