 The Post-Matric Scholarship for SC/ST Students is the top scholarship for B.Sc in this college.The Assamese government provides this scholarship to students who identify as members of the Scheduled Caste (SC) or Scheduled Tribe (ST) communities. Students must have received at least 60% in their prior qualifying exam in order to be eligible for this scholarship.Other scholarships are -

1. Cotton University Merit Scholarship: Students must have received at least 75% of the possible points in their prior qualifying exam in order to be eligible for this scholarship.
2.  The Cotton University Academic Excellence Scholarship is given to pupils who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement. Students must have received at least 80% of the possible points in their prior qualifying exam in order to be eligible for this scholarship.

Candidates for Cotton University's B.Sc. programme must have completed their 10+2 examination with relevant subjects from a recognised board in order to be eligible. The grades received in the 10+2 exams determine who gets admitted. For instance, candidates may need to have completed 10+2 coursework in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in order to be eligible for a B Sc in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.  The university provides a range of programs in the Arts and Science streams, including B.Sc.
