Cotton University has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

| B.Sc. | Candidate must have passed 10+2 from any recognised Board/Council. |
| B.A. | Candidate must have passed 10+2 from any recognised Board/council. |
| BCA | Candidate must have passed 10+2 from any recognised Board/Council. |
| M.Sc. | Candidates must have Bachelor's Degree with Major/ Honours in Zoology, Botany, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or similar discipline from a recognized University. |
| MCA | Candidate age must be between 20 years to 26 years on 1st day of July 2023. |
| M.Lib.I.Sc. | Candidates must have Bachelor's Degree with a Major/ Honours in any Discipline from a recognized University. |
| LL.M. | Candidates must have passed LLB Degree from a recognized University. |
