Hi Neeraj,
To be eligible for the CSIR NET in Mathematical Sciences, candidates typically need a Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related field with Mathematics or Statistics as a significant component, securing at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
Since your M.Tech in Biomedical Science and Engineering may not have a substantial focus on Mathematics or Statistics, it might not meet the specific eligibility criteria for the Mathematical Sciences subject.

A candidate applying for the CSIR NET Assistant Professor position will have at least a master's degree with at least 55 per cent marks and also be required to achieve any qualifying marks in CSIR NET. If your score is 28 per cent, you will not be eligible for lectureship, because it is less than the threshold value. These are suggestions: reviewing the cutoff scores one ought to target for their subject, as these differ from year to year depending on general performance and competitiveness.
